So here are a few pictures from her second take.
It was pretty funny to me because in the beginning she had her hand, umbilical cord and placenta in front of her face so Daddy could not get a good look at her. Just when we started to be able to see her whole face guess what started creeping up...her foot. She loves her foot. In the previous pics you can see her foot just below her face and in the next picture you can see how she loves it. She looks so comfy!
This scan was really a great experience. She was taking a nap but you could see how mad she was getting when the tech or I would shake her up to get her to change positions. It was really great because I can always feel when she changes positions and moves around even a little but sometimes Thomas can't. I try to tell him that every time he talks to her she moves but I don't think he believed me. Well when we figured out she was not moving he started to talk to her and that's when he got to see the proof. She moved her hand from in front of her face and moved her head to face him more. They already have such a great bond and relationship with each other it was just crazy to see the proof of it. It really melted my heart. She will most likely be a Daddy's girl.
We did have our two week checkup yesterday and things are going well. My wonderful Braxton Hicks are getting annoying and they were happy to hear that. (well they don't have to feel them) We are measuring and weighing right. She has an estimated weight of 3 1/2 lbs and will probably be around 7 to 8 lbs. THANK GOD!!! I was very worried she would try to be like me and weigh almost 11 lbs. Thankfully she is not like her mother yet! Fine by me!!
Nice side note, tomorrow marks our two month point. As of tomorrow we only have 60 days left!!
