My health ,however, is another story. All my signs for preeclampsia are getting worse in number and condition. When I have my non stress tests I usually have higher blood pressure in the beginning and it lowers the next few times they check it. Yesterday I went in for my Tuesday non stress test and my BP stayed elevated the whole time. Today the Dr said that I have to stay pretty still with my feet up pretty much like I am on bed rest or I will have to go on strict bed rest. Hopefully my wonderful husband will keep being wonderful and help with some of the cooking and cleaning for the next few weeks. Unfortunately when I do cook I am standing so long my legs get horribly swollen. The good thing is I had some energy Monday and yesterday so I got almost everything done and prepared for Elizabeth's arrival. Everything is washed and organized now all we need is her crib to be delivered and complete her room. Then we are ready!
I will keep everyone up to date on our health so stay tuned. Hopefully it gets better. One thing I ask is if you do have complaints, worries, or drama that is not life or death please wait until Elizabeth is born to include me. This will help keep my blood pressure down. Especially since being pregnant I get worked up easily over almost anything staying as calm as possible will help keep my BP down and Elizabeth and I healthy. Thank you.
Well I thought I was done but I just saw some pics my friend Nanthida posted from the shower some good friends hosted for me this weekend. So lets end on a good note. Well at least a funny note. I think they are kind of funny. Also note to self: when the swelling is full blown to not stand next to Nanthida!

It's also funny because while our belly's were touching Nanthida's baby was kicking Elizabeth. I think they are going to be great friends because the last few times Nanthida and my belly were by each other her baby started kicking. They are bonding in the womb! Can't go by my baby's actions because she like her mother loves to sleep for long periods of time. The only person she really moves for is her father. I said it before she will for sure be a Daddy's girl! I love it.
The Picture below is of Nanthida, myself and my good friend Mary. Mary is the best! Not only did she go to our wedding at the beginning of the summer and come in for the reception she helped plan and came out for my shower too! She left the nice weather of Dallas to come here in the arctic storm we were having for my shower! Like I said she is the best. I do have great friends!!

I'm ready for a blog post announcing the birth of that beautiful baby girl! I can't believe she's here and I can't wait to meet her and love on her. Congratulations, Mama!
